Finally complete

You may remember that I posted a few weeks ago about a jacket that I was making inspired by The Kooples! We after completing my toile and starting in my final fabric on Monday it is finally complete!

I am pleased with the outcome and I love how the fabrics work together, if I was to do it again I may look at the fit more and also re-look at the shape of the collar but overall I am pleased with what I have been able to create! 

Co-ordinates my new love..

I just wanted to share with you a fairly recently new love of mine; co-ords!! The picture showing my first buy into this trend, a combination of simple silhouette, knitwear and monochrome colour palette with just a pop of colour makes this outfit perfect for me! 

The only problem I have found with this outfit is that due to it being knitted and my day consisting of a lot of sitting down it can cause a slight stretch of the fabric and a slightly saggy bum but it's such a beautiful outfit that people don't tend to notice!! 

Inspired By .......... The Kooples

As part of one of my briefs at college I have been asked to design and manufacture a top for The Kooples.  As one of my favourite parts of the course I am excited to see my garment made up in my final fabric, and with the deadline fast approaching it won't be too long until I can! My toile is so close to being finished (just the collar left to pattern and attach) and my fabric is bought and waiting, hopefully everything works out and I can share with you my excitement about the finished garment!
